About the Job
Do you want to create digital models that will be turned into new Covert Intervention Games products?
Are you excited by the opportunity to develop an idea from concept to finished product in a creative and collaborative environment?
We’re looking for an enthusiastic designer with demonstrable talent and an understanding of what makes a great Covert Intervention Games miniature. You must be able to realize ideas using digital design software, for example, Blender, Solidworks or Zbrush, with a view to them being printed out on a 3D printer as the first step in the miniatures manufacturing process.
In addition to your digital design abilities you should also be able to demonstrate a good level of traditional model making skills and have an understanding of what makes a great model kit.
You will need to be adaptable to the project brief, work together with other designers and turn ideas into valuable products for Covert Intervention Games.
You will be responsible for creating exciting new models using C.A.D. that are complementary and consistent to Covert Intervention Games’s intellectual property.
You will need to work to a given project brief and meet scheduled deadlines enthusiastically in a design team environment, the Covert Intervention Games Studio.
You must be able to turn your designs into products that can be easily reproduced by manufacturing.
We understand that experienced model designers are few and far between, but we are keen to nurture the talents of those who show potential. It is possible therefore that the role may be offered at a trainee level, in which case supervision and mentorship will be provided as appropriate.
