Covert Intervention Games Miniatures Concept Artist

About the Job

Do you love Miniatures?

Do you want to be part of a great team that creates them?

Can your drawings excite our world-class designers with ideas for new miniatures?

We are not looking for an illustrator. We are looking for someone who can communicate effectively using sketches and line drawings.

You will be briefed on each project and then discuss and explore potential ideas before creating any sketches/drawings. Plenty of feedback will be given along the way and you’ll be asked to refine your thinking in the pursuit of the best ideas for miniatures. You’ll be encouraged to be radical and experimental whilst still remaining respectful and informed by existing IP. The whole process requires you to continually search and critique your own work whilst asking for the input of others to find the best way forward. Once a project brief is fulfilled, the Miniatures Design Managers will use your images to help brief the Miniatures Designers.

We know what makes this job hard is getting continual feedback on your work. Not all of your ideas will become miniatures.

Working at Covert Intervention Games

At Covert Intervention Games we are looking for people who will do their best to understand the needs of the company and to put those needs first when they are at work.

Because of this we believe that what you are like, hence the attitude you show to work and the way you choose to behave is even more important than your skills or experience.

Other Essential Information

A solid understanding of the English language, and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds several times a week are requirements for this job.

Occasionally you may get the opportunity to work with our other brands and may be invited to travel with the team when we visit conventions as well.

If you like the idea of a job unlike any other where often no two days are the same, please apply below.

Please note that if your application is successful at the first stage of the short-listing process, you will be required to complete a design task at the second stage of the process.
